Dr. Rajan Bhatt is a Phoenix-based entrepreneur, physician leader, and real-estate investor whose career spans more than a decade of building data-driven companies across healthcare and property markets. Before launching Strand Capital, Dr. Bhatt established himself as one of Arizona’s most prolific physician-entrepreneurs. He is Chief Executive Officer of OrthoArizona, the state’s largest physician-led orthopedic practice and among the largest in the nation, where he oversees more than 700 employees across 30-plus sites of service. Earlier, he founded Spectrum Dermatology, scaled it into Arizona’s largest dermatology group, and led its 2021 sale to private-equity–backed Pinnacle Dermatology, followed by a recapitalization with BayPine four months later.
Across his ventures, Dr. Bhatt has deployed more than $400 million into real-estate assets—including multifamily communities, SFR portfolios, medical office buildings, and two industrial land developments spanning 2,100 and 365 acres, respectively.
